How can I participate?
With your help and participation in our crowd funding campaign, our initial business goal to bring our fleet of family bikes to the Bay Area and estabish a sustainable membrship base is possible. Founding members will participate by pre-purchasing a retail bike, gifting a bike to a family, or donating to our kickstarter.
Investors will be invited to participate in our Indigogo campaign to estblish the infrastructure to secure the brick and mortar site and logistics needed to sustain our service. We will also have a guarantee buyback system, where customers receive credit for our bicycles their children no longer fit. The credit can be used to either purchase a new bike or participate in the most afordable membership witch provides the same used and nearly new models as an upgrade.
This business will be branded with the SPOKES’ name and our family bikes will be an integral part of the Family Bike Collective to help ensure that no child need be on a bike that doesn’t fit.
As for business extension, SPOKES National works closely with many partners across the US and they have shown interest in replicating the Family Bike Collective model with its success. Partner locations include Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Atlanta, DC, Baltimore, Chicago and Brooklyn.
Many parents around the Bay Area have already shown excitement at the potential at having access to these bikes and in moving forward.
